E-safety

As our world continues to move online, it is becoming obvious that we are living in a digital age. Being online is an integral part of children and young people’s lives. Online learning, social media, online games, websites and apps can be accessed through mobile phones, computers, laptops and tablets – all of which form a part of children and young people’s online world.

We are aware that the internet and online technology provides new opportunities for young people’s learning and growth, but it can also expose them to new types of risks.

At RAK Academy e-safety form a fundamental part of our Academy’s’ safeguarding and child protection measures.

RAK Academy’s e-Safety & Cybersecurity policy provides guidance and directions on e-Safety and cybersecurity for stakeholders, both inside and outside the Academy.

For any concerns related to e-safety please report to: tamar.harboyan@rakacademy,org
