Re-enrolment process

 

Parents of all students attending RAK Academy in the 2023/24 academic year will be asked to indicate if they intend for their child/children to continue to attend RAK Academy for the 2023/24 academic year.

 

In order to secure a student’s continued seat at RAK Academy for the following academic year, an online re-enrolment form must be completed via parent’s portal along with a paid registration school fees by the 30th of May, 2023.

How much are the registration fees?

 

Registration Fees: AED 5,000 per student, AED 4,000 per student for 2 siblings, AED 3,000 per student for 3 Siblings, or more.

 

What happens if I do not re-enrol my child by 30th May 2023?

 

  • If you have not re-enroled your child(ren) by 30th May by filling in the online form and paying the registration fees, we reserve the right to offer your child(ren)'s place(s) to external applicants.

 

  • If you have ticked ‘No’ and will not re-enrol, our Admissions Office will be in touch to help you with any transfer documentation required.

 

  • In the event that you do not complete registration fees, we reserve the right to offer your child(ren)'s place(s) to external applicants.

 

I am in arrears with my school fees, what should I do?

 

Students with any outstanding fees may not be eligible to re-enrol for the following academic year. If you are experiencing any financial difficulties, please contact the finance department accounts@rakacademy.org immediately as the continuity of your child's education is extremely important to us.

 

I have indicated that I will not re-enrol my child(ren), how do I obtain my leaving documents?

 

Once you fill the form to opt-out of re-enrolment, Admissions team will be in touch to help you with transfer procedures and required documents.

 

I have re-enrolled my child for the academic year 2023/24, and then we had to move out of the country?

 

Please inform the school as soon as possible if there is a change in your personal circumstances, especially if you think that your family will need to move outside Ras Al Khaimah or the UAE.

We will usually refund your registration fees if a withdrawal application is made in writing to the Admissions Office by 5th July. The school may ask for further documentation to support your claim.

I have had challenges providing the documents asked for by the school to complete the registration process with MoE. What should I do?

 

Please work with our Admissions Team closely so that we can keep the MoE informed. Please also note when the school is unable to register students with MoE due to incomplete documentation, you may be asked to wait to take up your school place until the process is complete, which will result in your child not being able to join their class for the academic year 2023/2024.

What happens if my child needs extra Language/Learning Support in addition to that normally provided by the school?

 

We will work with you to ensure that your child(ren) receive the extra support needed for them to succeed at school. We will facilitate the extra personnel and resources to support your child’s Individual Education Plan. Charges incurred due to the extra support will be discussed and agreed with you prior to the commencement of any language/learning support.
