RAKA Scholarships

Scholarships starting from Grade 9 and Grade 11

RAK Academy (RAKA) has an impressive heritage, ranking, and not-for-profit status, and offers competitive awards scholarships up to 100% of the tuition fee to high-performing students starting grade 9 or grade 11 in AY 2023-2024. The scholarship continuous until grade 12.

  • 100% Emirati Scholarship (only UAE nationals)

  • 75% Academic Excellence Scholarship (open to all students)

  • 75% Talent & Sports Scholarship (open to all students)

Qualifications to apply for the scholarship:

  • Students from all nationalities can apply.

  • Students who have completed grade 8 or grade 10 in AY 2022-23 can apply.

  • Students currently enroled at RAK Academy or other schools.

 

Process:

 

Step 1: Complete the scholarship application:

  • Complete scholarship online form: LINK

  • Pay AED 200

  • Book your assessment test date

 

Step 2: Candidate screening & interview:

  • The School’s scholarship committee shall review all the candidates and grant the scholarship to the qualified candidates

 

Scholarship Criteria:

Student’s granted the scholarship are required to meet the below requirements to keep the scholarship until grade 12 (2 years if starting at Grade 9, or 4 years if starting at Grade 12).

  • GCSE – minimum of a Grade 4 in English, Mathematics and Science

  • A Level – minimum of a Grade B in all subjects

  • IB Diploma – minimum of a Grade 5 in all subjects

 

Assessment test details:

CAT4 is a diagnostic assessment that is used to help students and teachers (RAKA staff) understand how they learn and what their academic potential might be (ability). CAT4 assesses how students think in areas that are known to make a difference to learning.

 

Tasks involve thinking about shapes and patterns (Non-Verbal Reasoning), words (Verbal Reasoning), numbers (Quantitative Reasoning) and some questions are answered by mentally generating and transforming images (Spatial Ability).

75% Academic Excellence Scholarship

 

This Scholarship an incredible opportunity for high-achieving students to pursue their academic dreams without financial burden. This scholarship covers 75% of tuition fees for qualified students (all nationalities) who demonstrate exceptional academic records, outstanding achievements, and a strong commitment to their field of study.

75% Talent & Sports Scholarship
